Case Studies
Case Study 1
Galileo Southern Cross
| Problem | The company was sending out a very large document to clients for the installation of Galileo software, half of which were irrelevant to the client. |
| Solution | A wizard that allowed the user to select options that were applicable the each individual client. |
| Benefit | The client now receives a much smaller document that is specific to their circumstances. |
By using a wizard the user was able to select the type of client, what software needed to be installed, and whether there was a need for new hardware. And all the while in the background a document was being created from a set of small sub-documents. The end result, a document tailored the the needs of the client with only the relevant information they required.

Case Study 2
Local City Council
| Problem | The Council was spending an enormous amount of time creating and compiling the agenda for the monthly council meeting. |
| Solution | We created two templates, one for the creation of reports and one for the agenda. The agenda template allowed for the insertion of reports, navigation of the agenda document and the automatic update of the table of contents. |
| Benefit | The council have saved up to 50% of the time required to create the agenda document. |
By using the agenda toolbar the end user could navigate to the appropriate section within the document, add a report and update the table of contents all with a few mouse clicks.

Case Study 3
Local Builder
| Problem | This particular builder was looking to get prospects to fill in a form about their construction requirements and help them to then find accredited suppliers. |
| Solution | We created a form on his website that allowed end users to fill in their details and then to tick materials that they required for their development. This then sent each supplier the details of the end user and also sent the end user an email with aspecification document that included the details of all the suppliers they had ticked. |
| Benefit | The builder is now able to track the amount of users who fill in the form as well as the suppliers they select. He can then report this back to each supplier. |
Technolgies used to complete this project included HTML and PHP. PHP was used to create the emails sent to both the suppliers and end user, as well as the ability to add a PDF attachment to the emails.
